Host’s were brilliant and the communication was great. The cottage was clean and had all the home comforts, beds were comfortable and the bath was perfect for a long dip after walks on the amazing beach. We would have loved a bigger sofa but that is just our personal preference. Camber Beach House is a lovely house and was ideal for our break. There was plenty of room for us and our friends (4 adults) and two dogs. The house is nicely decorated with lots of art and ornaments to emphasise it is next to the sea. The bathrooms and facilities are excellent. The short stroll to the vast Camber beach is a clear benefit. We enjoyed long walks and there was plenty of exercise for our dogs. The houses are comfortable, spacious, clean and very close to the sea. A short stroll from the beach, the cottage is brilliantly located in a quiet fenced-off area with about ten other properties. It has a patio-style back garden, wooden floorboards and a wood-burning stove. Loads of home comforts (coffee machine, brilliantly equipped kitchen, comfy sofas) and was spotlessly clean. Super dog-friendly - the food bowls were much appreciated - and with magnificent beachy dog-walks just minutes away, I can’t recommend the cottage enough. Perfect for dog owners, walkers or anyone who wants to get away and have a quiet, private, peaceful stay at a coastal hideaway near Rye. Huge thanks to Minnie 🩷the housekeeper who was so helpful giving us a late checkout. Can’t wait to return! Thank you so much x

Just 3 miles from Rye in East Sussex, one of the historic Cinque Ports coastal towns, you will find the small village of Camber. Camber Sands beach is the undisputed jewel in Camber’s crown. It stretches for miles along the coast and is so beautiful, it’s even been a location for a number of film shoots.
Rye is one of the prettiest towns in England, complete with cobbled streets, fabulous gastro pubs and a fantastic farmers’ market selling local produce and freshly caught fish and seafood.
