The houses are comfortable, spacious, clean and very close to the sea. Property was roomy, with a nice beach decor and very baby friendly. Location was ideal, easy to walk to the beach. Parking out front, games room downstairs. A short stroll from the beach, the cottage is brilliantly located in a quiet fenced-off area with about ten other properties. It has a patio-style back garden, wooden floorboards and a wood-burning stove. Loads of home comforts (coffee machine, brilliantly equipped kitchen, comfy sofas) and was spotlessly clean. Super dog-friendly - the food bowls were much appreciated - and with magnificent beachy dog-walks just minutes away, I can’t recommend the cottage enough. Perfect for dog owners, walkers or anyone who wants to get away and have a quiet, private, peaceful stay at a coastal hideaway near Rye. Huge thanks to Minnie 🩷the housekeeper who was so helpful giving us a late checkout. Can’t wait to return! Just had a wonderful weekend at Owlers Cottage with friends - check in was seamless, the cottage was beautifully furnished, with lots of little extras to make our stay perfect. Mariners moon in camber sands was such a lovely weekend get away for myself and my family. Just 3 miles from Rye in East Sussex, one of the historic Cinque Ports coastal towns, you will find the small village of Camber. Camber Sands beach is the undisputed jewel in Camber’s crown.
