“Perfect says it all” April 2016
Everything about our week in Mariners Moon was perfect. The greeting and help from Richard, the cosy feel about the cottage, the cleanliness throughout, there is nothing detrimental to say. We would certainly return and recommend to friends and family. Thank you.
“You really couldn’t ask for anything more” Oct 2015
Had a truly wonderful week staying at this beautiful house in October. Situated in a quiet cul-desac on the edge of the village the property is comfortable, spotlessly clean and stylishly decorated with a coastal theme. You really couldn’t ask for anything more with all the facilities you need in a home from home. And the best bit….. The property is a 3 minute walk to the dunes of Camber Sands where you can while away the hours exploring, watching horses gallop, building sand castles and flying kites. We were blessed with some gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and being so close to the beach means taking breakfast or tea to the sands is no hassle at all.
Beside the Sea Holidays who manage the property were also completely fantastic – great service, attentive and there if you need them but not intrusive at the same time. Book with confidence – just leave some dates free for us to go back!.
“Wow !” August 2015
We stayed at Mariner’s Moon and couldn’t fault any aspect of it,the house was clean when we arrived and there was every mod con you could ask for, almost better than being at home ! It was handy for the beach which our dog loved and, on the days we didn’t fancy sand in our toes, we sunbathed in the garden on the loungers provided. If you have a large family (we were a group of 8) and /or have a dog, this is the place for you.
“A comfortable spacious cottage, beautifully furnished – with great views!” July 2015
We have just enjoyed a fantastic holiday at Mariners Moon. It was not the first visit we have made to Camber so we knew about the delights of the beach and nearby Rye. We were so pleased that the cottage lived up to expectations – it is a beautiful cottage in a great location with lovely views over the marshland and the decor and furnishings are ideal – love the lighthouse lights! It is well appointed – the garden and living room seem to get the sunshine all day and everything you need is there! We were able to relax, sit back and enjoy! We were also pleased to met Richard (from Besidethesea Holidays) – it was good to know he was on hand to deal with any problems we might have had.
