Seasalt Holiday Cottage
They say salt breezes are a balm for the soul. At Seasalt Cottage in Camber Sands, you will find these breezes in abundance, along with coastal character and high-tech amenities such as superfast fibre-optic broadband. Plus, of course, an ideal location at the award-winning Whitesand development, just a 5-minute stroll from one of England’s most beautiful beaches.
A perfect day in Camber Sands begins with an espresso in the fully enclosed garden (your kitchen has a Nespresso machine). Then, perhaps tuck into a family al fresco breakfast at the outdoor dining table.
Grab your flipflops and beach towels and walk to the dunes of Camber Sands to feel the warm sand between your toes and take a dip in the shallow, sparkling waters. Adventurers can kite-surf or windsurf, and your four-legged friends can have their own adventure exploring the dunes.
After a day at the beach, drive 10 minutes to the medieval town of Rye with its quaint cobbled streets, gastro-pubs and antique shops. Smuggle home a local wine to enjoy with freshly caught scallops.

Over the centuries, East Sussex & Kent coast—as the closest points to mainland Europe—have been the invader’s gateway to Britain, and as such, have witnessed some of the most important moments in the country’s history.
With such a rich past it’s no surprise that this corner of the country is teeming with places of historical significance—from ruins to castles, from ancient woodland to prehistoric coastline.

Step into famous literary settings in the neighbouring Cinque port towns, like Canterbury (Chaucer) and Rochester (Dickens).
Choose the tone for your holiday: Find an adrenaline rush while soaring above the sea on a kite-surfing excursion or hurtling down a zip wire through county parks. Or partake in more relaxing pastimes, like long walks along the many path and cycleways and even longer afternoons spent reclined on the beach. Or mix a bit of both.
For those of you who like a bit of culture, visit the many museums and galleries found throughout our historic towns. You’ll find vast collections of historical importance, fine art, landscape photography and theatre productions set in some of the most atmospheric locations.
