Cottage summary
Welcome to Ocean Beach — your stylish coastal bolthole in Camber Sands
Ocean Beach is a stylish clapboard cottage on the White Sand development at Camber Sands — tucked between the Romney Marsh and the dunes, and just a few minutes’ walk from the beach.
It sleeps four across two bedrooms, welcomes dogs, and has something genuinely unusual for a cottage this size: a dedicated games room with a pool table, air hockey, table football and darts. Whether the weather holds or doesn’t, you’re sorted.
Inside, the mood is calm and coastal — cool blues, warm wood, a real log burner for slow evenings, and a Nespresso machine for mornings that start properly. Outside, there’s a fully enclosed garden with sun loungers, a fire pit and a Weber BBQ. The beach is minutes from the front door.

Inside the cottage
The living space is open-plan and relaxed — pale tones, coastal artwork, and the log burner at the heart of it all. It’s the kind of room that feels instantly easy: settle onto the sofa, light the fire and let the evening unfold.
The kitchen is well set up for proper cooking. Everything you’d need is here — single oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, wine fridge, Nespresso machine and microwave. The dining table seats four comfortably, with large doors opening out to the garden on warmer days.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master has a king-size bed with nautical-inspired décor. The second bedroom has zip-and-link twin singles — which can be configured as a king or two singles depending on your group. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, WC and basin. Downstairs, the ground-floor cloakroom is handy for sandy returns from the beach.
The games room
This is what makes Ocean Beach stand out from most cottages its size.
The converted garage houses a proper pool table, air hockey table, table football and darts — everything you need for a competitive evening or a rainy afternoon with the kids. It’s a genuinely brilliant feature, especially for families or groups who want more than just a TV to fall back on when the weather turns.
The garden
The fully enclosed garden faces south and catches the afternoon sun well. There are sun loungers with striped cushions, a picnic table, garden furniture and a Weber charcoal BBQ for summer evenings.
When the sun drops, the fire pit comes into its own — light it up, pull up a chair and sit out under the stars. Safe for dogs and young children, with an outdoor tap for rinsing sandy paws after the beach.
