Salty Towers has been recently refurbished to a high specification, with a coastal influence befitting its seaside surroundings.
On the ground floor, a full kitchen is outfitted in all the appliances you need for meals at home, including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer & dryer, electric oven and induction hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and a Nespresso. This chef-worthy space opens to the dining area, which is outfitted for a feast with chairs for 10. Expand the space even more by opening the doors to the garden patio and the second dining table in the sea air.
The living area—located on the first floor—provides a spacious-yet-cosy place to relax. Craft a cappuccino on the Nespresso machine and settle into a comfy sofa to take in the marsh view through large windows. Or head to the balcony through French doors—the bistro table provides a lovely setting for a moment of a solitude.
Bed & Bath
Salty Towers has 3 bedrooms, plus a study/4th bedroom with a sofa bed on the ground floor (the study also has a flat screen TV and an Xbox One!). On the first floor, you’ll find one bedroom with a double bed and French doors showcasing a view of the marsh and countryside.
The second floor is home to the other two bedrooms. One is a master suite with a king bed, built-in wardrobe, an en-suite bath with shower and spectacular views of the countryside— the ideal retreat for exhausted parents! The other bedroom is perfect for the younger members of the family, with two single beds and ample storage. The family bathroom, also on the second floor, has a WC, hand basin and bath with shower over.
To help ease the burden of bringing all your baby and toddler gear, Salty Towers has been fully equipped with a high chair, travel cot and stairgate (which can also be used to keep your pet contained).
With its charcoal grill, dining table for 6, and privacy hedge and dog friendly fencing, the marsh-view patio is a welcome retreat after a day at the beach.
As dog owners, for us a family holiday is not complete without our furry friend Cassie. She has personally ensured that her canine friends who visit Salty Towers are treated to a dog bowl and blanket, as well as a few toys. Perfect for when your pooch isn’t exploring the sand dunes, taking their owners for long walks or visiting the dog friendly pubs in Rye.
Salty Towers also has off-road parking on the driveway in front of the garage.

Camber’s huge sandy beach on your doorstep, lots of great places to go for walks and even dog friendly pubs so that you can both enjoy a relaxing drink after a day of sniffing about on the dunes!

Good food is an important part of a great holiday, so rest assured of eating well during your stay. From the simple pleasure of fresh fish and chips to local produce menus that the many character-filled taverns and restaurants serve. Whether you prefer cosy inns with roaring fires to luxurious beach restaurants, you will be spoilt for choice.
Being close to the sea and surrounded by farmland it’s little surprise that the food served in some of these fabulous buildings comes from only a few miles away. The famous Romney Marsh Lamb, Rye bay Scallops and Dover sole all feature on the menus as well as traditional English pub dishes using locally sourced ingredients such as Rye Bay fish, fruit, veg and meat from the local farms along with our award winning sparkling wines to give you a taste sensation.
