Salty Towers Camber Sands
A warm welcome awaits you at Salty Towers where every effort has been made to provide you with a real home away from home. This self-catering cottage is set over 3 storeys and has been recently refurbished to a high specification with a coastal influence befitting the surroundings. The spacious contemporary layout has been specifically designed to cater for large or small social family gatherings with its open plan kitchen diner (where you can linger over lunch or dinner) to the large living room with its panoramic views and secluded garden where you can relax and unwind with a glass of your favourite tipple.
The hallway leads off to a downstairs cloakroom (WC and hand wash basin) and study with sofa bed (which can accommodate a further 2 guests), a TV with Xbox one where children big or small can be entertained whatever the weather! The ground floor also boasts a large kitchen diner. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and induction hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine.
The large refectory-style dining table comfortably seats up to 10 is ideal for family mealtimes. French doors lead out to the paved garden complete with garden table, benches and chairs providing the perfect spot for al fresco dining.
The first floor has large bedroom with a double bed and plenty of storage. The French door to the rear allows an interrupted view of the marsh and countryside beyond. The spacious yet comfortable living room with two sofas, coffee table and flat screen TV is also on this floor. Like the bedroom it has stunning views of the marsh to the rear and a south facing balcony to the front of the house (reached via French doors) where you can escape to bask in the sunshine or enjoy a moment of solitude. A selection of board and card games has been provided to ensure that there is plenty for the family to do whatever the weather.
The Master bedroom with its en-suite compromising of shower, WC and basin is located on the second floor. This room too has uninterrupted spectacular views of the countryside. It has a king-size bed and built-in wardrobe – the ideal retreat for exhausted parents!
The third bedroom has two single beds and ample storage and is ideally suited for the younger members of the family. The family bathroom also on the second floor, has a WC, hand basin and bath with shower over.
To help ease the burden of bringing all the essentials needed for babies and toddlers, Salty Towers has been fully equipped with a high chair, travel cot and stairgate (which can also be used to keep your pet contained).
As dog owners, for us a family holiday is not complete without our furry friend and your pet will be thoroughly pampered during their stay. Cassie (our own dog) has personally ensured that her canine friends are also catered for with a dog bowl and blanket supplied as well as a few toys to keep your pooch entertained when they are not out and about exploring the sand dunes, taking their owners for long walks or visiting the other dog-friendly places Camber & Rye have to offer.
Salty Towers also has off-road parking on the driveway in front of the garage.

Camber’s huge sandy beach on your doorstep, lots of great places to go for walks and even dog friendly pubs so that you can both enjoy a relaxing drink after a day of sniffing about on the dunes!

Good food is an important part of a great holiday, so rest assured of eating well during your stay. From the simple pleasure of fresh fish and chips to local produce menus that the many character-filled taverns and restaurants serve. Whether you prefer cosy inns with roaring fires to luxurious beach restaurants, you will be spoilt for choice.
Being close to the sea and surrounded by farmland it’s little surprise that the food served in some of these fabulous buildings comes from only a few miles away. The famous Romney Marsh Lamb, Rye bay Scallops and Dover sole all feature on the menus as well as traditional English pub dishes using locally sourced ingredients such as Rye Bay fish, fruit, veg and meat from the local farms along with our award winning sparkling wines to give you a taste sensation.
